Movement of Solidarity for International Women’s Day 2026
Fallen Angels Movement invites 8 individuals (18+) to join a powerful new performance project leading to a showcase at the renowned Storyhouse Women Festival in 2026.
This project is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively on a powerful piece of movement theatre celebrating solidarity, resilience, and the strength of women as part of the International Women’s Day. Over six weeks, you will explore movement techniques, IWD 2026 themes, and collaborative choreography in a safe and supportive environment.
Why Join This Project?
- Purpose: Be part of a performance that speaks to the heart of International Women’s Day—a message of shared strength and support.
- Creative Deep Dive: Develop your movement skills, confidence, and capacity for creative expression under the guidance of Fallen Angels’ expert team.
- Platform: Perform at Storyhouse Women Festival on Saturday, 7th March 2026 – in the relaxed informal setting of the Kitchen
Project Commitment & Details:
- What: 6 intensive workshops culminating in a performance:
- When: Workshops start in the New Year on Thursdays: 6:30 to 8pm. January 22, 29, February 5, 12, 26 & March 6 (no workshop on 19 Feb due to half term).
- Where: Storyhouse Studio 1
Performance: Saturday, 7th March 2026, at Storyhouse Women Festival – time tbc
Seeking: 8 committed participants.
Cost: £50 for the entire project (covers all 6 workshops and performance rehearsal time).
We are looking for individuals who are committed to the full rehearsal schedule and excited to collaboratively share a powerful message through movement.
