Paul Bayes Kitcher

Paul Bayes Kitcher

Artistic Director

Paul trained at the Royal Ballet School and Rambert. He danced for Scottish Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet where he danced various soloist and principal roles.

In 2009 through his own journey into recovery Paul began teaching within drug & alcohol rehabilitation settings, whilst developing his artistic practice, which led to him co-founding Fallen Angels Dance Theatre in 2011. BBC3 devoted an “Amazing Humans” short film about his journey to supporting people in recovery and his return to Birmingham Royal Ballet after 21 years.

Paul has participated widely in public speaking about Fallen Angels including at Russel Brand’s book launch, House of Commons, & TEDx talks where he raises awareness of FADT’s unique practice, as well as meeting Her Majesty the Queen.

Claire Morris

Claire Morris

Creative and Strategic Director

Claire Morris trained at London Contemporary Dance School. Her career highlights include Rambert Dance Company, and The Royal Ballet School. She founded Co3 Dance, where she created and developed all aspects of the company through participation, choreography and artist development.

Claire has been an arts project manager since 2000. She co-founded FADT, she has experience of working in partnership with Health, Local Authority, Drug and Alcohol Services. She has received development through Royal Opera House ROH links programme, and FADT’s Arts Council England’s Elevate programme, a key step change in Fallen Angels and Claire’s development.

Claire delivers presentations and Question & Answer sessions; highlights include: Storyhouse Women, King’s College London’s Science Gallery, Liverpool’s Radio City’s ‘Mental Health Monday’, and The British Psychological Society.

Administrator (currently on Maternity Leave)

Amy joined FADT in 2020 from her role at Tate Liverpool. Amy has extensive experience in administration and communications in the creative industries and education. She is studying for an MA in Art Psychotherapy at the University of Chester.

Jude Miller

Jude Miller

Engagement Support Worker

Jude is the Engagement Support worker for Fallen Angels, and a Cheshire-based Arts practitioner. She helps to welcome potential participants and support them with the transition onto FADT's dance programme. She has considerable experience working in community arts in Cheshire, developing, teaching, and facilitating arts workshops and leading on outreach projects across the area and has worked with participants in recovery, facing addiction and mental health adversity, in addition to those experiencing domestic  violence and homelessness.

Sue has 40 years experience in Cultural Management, the highlight of her career was managing the building of The Brindley Theatre.

Richard is an experienced business leader and chartered engineer, having worked in a number of large scale global businesses in the utilities and power sectors, specialising in commercial arrangements.

Dawn qualified as a solicitor in 2002, she has worked at Weightmans Solicitors in Company and Commercial department, and lectured at The College of Law in Chester.

Ronno qualified as a Social Worker and has been involved in the fields of substance misuse, sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, sexual health, self-injury, criminal justice and related fields for over 45 years.

Clare is an experienced Education Manager and qualified subject teacher of English and Textiles. She has worked in a wide variety of settings in the UK including communities, workplaces, prisons and universities.

Laura Dunn

Laura Dunn

Trustee

Laura has worked in Human Resources at a senior level for over 30 years in a variety of private, public and third sector roles.

A fellow of the CIPD she brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of Human Resources coupled with a passion for the arts in all its forms. In addition, she operated in a Non Executive Capacity for a mental health charity, serving on the board for three years.
